Moreover on page 2, they have shown this picture (on right-side) in which Kavitha cries near the body of her cricket fanatic husband P. Raju who reportedly suffered a heart-attack while watching India lose to Sri Lanka in Hyderabad on saturday!

Two more fans (one from Thane and one from Ahmedabad) lost their lives watching shameless Indian cricketer loosing against Sri Lanka!

Before these three one more fan lost his life when India lost to Bangladesh! Following excerpt is from a story in Times of India - "India's defeat cost my son's life"

World Cup cricket took a different kind of toll when a 17-year-old boy in Bihar died of a heart attack soon after India's shocking defeat at the hands of Bangladesh.

Ramparvesh Rai, 17, an emotionally-charged student and an avid cricket fan, died after India lost to Bangladesh on Saturday.

"India's defeat cost my son's life. He was so shocked that his heart stopped beating minutes after the winning stroke by Bangladeshi batsman Mushfiqur Rahim," said Ramparvesh's father Sita Ram Rai, a resident of Adalpur village in Samastipur district.

"He could not digest the defeat as he fell unconscious and on the way to the hospital he died of a massive heart attack."

So toll count is 4!

I think better they (Indian cricket team) come home now instead of shamelessly waiting for Bermuda to defeat Bangladesh! I don't think this team have confidence to win this world-cup even if they qualifies for next round!

But thats not my worry... I am worried for Indian fans who will loose their lives when India will loose in Super 8!

Indian team are only paper tigers.Our team consist of batsmen when combine has more than 35000 runs.
But again they flatten to deliver at crunch time. Indian team should have chased 255 runs.
Here are some things that go wrong:
1 But starting they should not allow Sri Lanka to reach 255 runs.After India won toss ,they should restrict Sri Lanka at 225.After Sri Lanka Top big 3 gifted their wickets.
2 But our World cup selection has wrong from starting.We should have taken Ramesh Powar in West Indies.Because Harbhajan is not attacking bowler in one day.He is more economical bowler.And that hurt India yesterday.SriLankan have milked his bowling easily yesterday.
3 If we look bowling figure then we will observe Agarkar doesnot complete his bowling quota although he bowled brilliantly yesterday..Also I think Sachin Tendulkar bowled beautifully at starting.But he bowls one more over than expected.I think part time should not bowl ten overs because after some time if wicket wasnot falling,then they get used to it.And same happens yesterday.Also overs should be removed from Harbhajan quota insted of Agarkar
4 Also he should bring Munaf Patel earlier insted of Zaheer Khan before settling partnership of Dilshan and Silva.Zaheer is good last over bowler.While Munaf only bowls one length beautifully.There luck help them.
5 Also he has bought Ajit Aagarkar in last over.It is difficult to come and bowl last over directly.
6 Also Indian bowlers give 27 extras of that 14 were wides and many legbyes.That means they bowl legside.

So I think 250 was 20-30 more runs.Though India should have chased it.
1.But again Gangully played slowly and before acceleration he gifted his wicket.
2.Sachin Tendulkar also again owled in an important match.God knows when his problem with incoming delivery and big match ill end?
3.Again Rahul Dravid play slowly at starting and end no one has left with him with run rate climbing.

But SriLanka also plays very well.Actually they play better than India.Their young gun Tharanga and Silva and Dilshan rode on luck and and play beautifully and sensibly.And experiense guys like Vaas ,Murliharan and Jaysurya bowls beautifully.It was masterpiece of bowling by Murli to get ride of in form Virendra Sehwag who was playing straight.

India captain Rahul Dravid admitted his team's loss to Sri Lanka was the biggest disappointment of his career.

"I have played in three World Cup tournaments and this is definitely my worst," Dravid said.

Needing victory to move into the Super Eight stages of the tournament - barring an improbabl Bermuda win over Bangladesh - India failed by 69 runs to chase down Sri Lanka's total of 254.

Dravid who top scored with 60, said his players were all disappointed but India failed to bat to their potential and therefore deserved to lose.

"Batting is our strength and there was nothing in the wicket to stop us from getting 255. It was gettable but we failed to put together a substantial partnership and kept losing wickets regularly," Dravid said.

"We had our fate in our own hands and could not live up to expectations."

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene paid tribute to the younger members of his team, highlighting the contributions of Upul Tharanga, Chamara Silva and Lasith Malinga.

"It was a brilliant effort out there today and we are hoping that we can keep the momentum going," Jayawardene said.

"We are very happy with our back-to-back wins which means that we are playing really good cricket. Our batting was sensible while the bowlers were spot on.

"It is so good to see the younger players putting it together. We told them before that this was a big event and they have shown they are ready."

Jayawardene paid particular tribute to Silva, who scored half-centuries in all three games, and Chaminda Vaas.

"Chamara batted well today. The way he rotates the strike and plays spin is always heartening and he knows how to accelerate at the end," he added.

"Vaas created a lot of pressure and we knew that once we got some early wickets, they would become rattled."

For indian fan ,this is happy news that after Sri Lanka's win over Bangladesh on Wednesday, India now just needs to beat Sri Lanka without worrying about the net run-rate.

Bangladesh has done no good to its chances to qualify for Super-8 after being thrashed by 198 runs by Sri Lanka. Its net run-rate has come down to -2.0018 after that game.

Sri Lanka now heads the Group B with a net run-rate of +4.5937. India is second with a net run-rate of +2.507.

A victory by even one run (batting first) or off the last ball (batting second) over Sri Lanka will take India through to the next stage.

Suppose Sri Lanka scores 250 and India successfully chases the target off the last ball, then in such a scenario Sri Lanka will end up as the Group leader with a NRR of +3.0136. India will end up with a NRR of +1.6730.

Since Bangladesh will be playing its last league match against Bermuda after India-Sri Lanka game, theoretically it will have a chance to better India's NRR, but to do this Bangladesh has to produce something unimaginable.

If India beats Sri Lanka under the circumstances mentioned above, then to beat India on NRR the target for Bangladesh in the match against Bermuda will be:

If Bangladesh bats first
Bangladesh has to score 600 and restrict Bermuda to 168
Bangladesh has to score 550 and restrict Bermuda to 117
Bangladesh has to score 500 and restrict Bermuda to 67
Bangladesh has to score 450 and restrict Bermuda to 16

If Bermuda bats first
Bangladesh can not overhaul India's NRR even if it bundles out Bermuda for a total of 50 and achieves the target in first over itself!

India's NRR will remain around +1.65 even if it registers a win over Sri Lanka off the narrowest margin possible - batting first or second.

There will be a slight change in Bangladesh's target in the last league match depending upon the victory margin for India, but it is obvious that the target will only become more difficult for Bangladesh as the victory margin for India increases.

India can still make it to Super-8 despite losing to Sri Lanka on 23rd. But for that Bangladesh has to lose to Bermuda.

Looks like this world-cup will write its own history! First to be hosted by West-Indies, this one is writing pages of history as curtain falls every day! We are still afresh with Gibbs slaughter of 6 sixes in a over against Netherlands and looks like we got more to talk about!

Ireland and Bangladesh - the two minnows (as Ricky Ponting said in the beginning of world-cup) beats two former world-cup champions on same day in different matches!

While India still have two matches to play before packing-up their luggage, Ireland booked return tickets for Pakistan by defeating them by 5 wickets!

In truly champions manner Ireland ended match with a six! What I felt at that point their scored reached to 133. While D/L put revised target of 128 in 47 overs in answer to Pakistan 132 all out, they first reached to 127 and then hit a six to make their total to 133. So no out-of form paki player on way back flight can say we could have bowled them all-out if rain did not interrupted!
